Cookies and browser storage

Timeline Football does not set or use cookies.

Matchweek pages use your browser's local storage only to remember whether you have enabled or disabled Auto-update. This preference stays on your device and is not used to identify you, advertise to you or track you across websites. You can change it with the Auto-update control or remove it by clearing this site's stored data in your browser.

Hosting and analytics

Timeline Football is hosted by Netlify and uses Netlify Web Analytics. This analytics service works from server request data rather than a tracking script or cookie placed in your browser.

Netlify provides aggregate information such as pageviews, popular pages, referring sites, approximate visitor locations and bandwidth usage. Netlify uses IP addresses to estimate unique visitors. Timeline Football uses these reports to understand site traffic, improve the service and diagnose technical problems. We do not use this information to build individual profiles or for targeted advertising.

More information is available in Netlify's privacy statement.

Contacting us

If you email Timeline Football, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. We use it to respond to your enquiry and retain it only as reasonably necessary for correspondence and record keeping.

Links to other websites

The site includes ordinary links to third-party websites, including X. Those services do not receive information from Timeline Football merely because the link appears here. If you follow a link, the destination site's own privacy practices apply.

Changes to this notice
